Elon Musk now owns 9.2 percent of Twitter according to a filing recently released, Bloomberg News reports. Musk purchased the stake on March 14th. Jack Dorsey, the founder of twitter only owns a fraction of that amount with 2.25 percent.
Musk has been questioning Twitter’s approach to free speech on his Twitter account in recent weeks. “Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy. Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle?” the CEO asked, adding “the consequences of this poll will be important.”
